Rosalía swears she is going to wait for her love to get out of prison in a new music video for her newly released single titled “Juro Qué” off her forthcoming record yet to be revealed.
In the video directed by Tanu Muino, the Barcelona native delicately delivers the song’s lyrics, talking to her imprisoned partner—Spanish actor and Elite superstar Omar Rayuso—about waiting for him as long as it takes so they could finally get back together. Meanwhile, she is determined to pawn every valuable thing to get him out, and if that fails, she’s destined to commit a crime and intentionally get herself arrested. The music is infused with fiery Spanish guitar and tasty palmas, meaning Rosalía hasn’t abandoned her flamenco roots.
Last year saw Rosalía conquer the world of music—so much so that her 2018 album El Mal Querer earned her two nominations at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Listen to “Juro Qué” and watch the music video for the song below.
